About Lioness
‘Lioness’ born as Rosemary Angel, is an education entrepreneur, she believes in sharing her expertise to address society issues and helping individuals to see challenges as opportunities. Like most people, Rosemary found herself living the ‘unknown life’ (a place where we simply do not know what is going to happen and what we are going to do). At the age of 14 her mother chased her out of the house for a week, she had to find ways to survive by herself.
As she grew older she developed a growth mindset, she learned to see challenges as opportunities. At the age of 29, she became a single mother of 3 and that’s how she developed the ‘Lioness’ abilities. Through hard work, resilience and learning from
experience both positive and failures, she has inspired and supported thousands of people to see challenges as opportunities and improve their lives.
She is involved in various social and economic inclusion activities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds at a local and international level. In 2022, she was one of Ireland’s delegates at the National Immigrant Inclusion Conference in Maryland Washington DC, where she shared her expertise on migrant’s economic inclusion and gained some knowledge on Migrant economic inclusion.
Now she is using her experience to help people develop skills that push them to keep going even in difficult situations. She has supported thousands of people in Africa and Europe to develop growth mindset skills, and to thrive in the midst of challenges. As a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) alumnus, and a recipient of ActionLab 2020 and Ideas Academy 2019 awards, Rosemary founded Dignity Partnership, a work integration social enterprise delivering non-formal education programmes that foster integration and inclusion for new communities in Ireland. She holds a Masters in Cooperatives and Social Enterprise from University College of Cork and a BA degree in Applied Addiction Studies and Community Development from South East Technological University – Carlow.
